When the temperature drops and the days grow short, our bodies crave a different kind of care. Join us for a hands-on afternoon dedicated to the art of traditional winter herbalism. In this workshop, we will bridge the gap between internal resilience and external restoration. Fire Cider & Herbal Bath Soak!
You’ll spend the session crafting two essential winter remedies to take home, keeping you vibrant and grounded through the season’s chill.
Part I: Stoke the Fire (Fire Cider Crafting)
We begin with the "Kitchen Medicine" classic: Fire Cider. This potent, spicy, and sour infusion is a staple in the herbalist’s pantry.
• The Craft: Learn the science and folklore behind "the warrior roots"—Horseradish, Ginger, Garlic, and Onion.
• The Blend: You will chop, grate, and layer your own personalized jar of cider, infusing it with raw apple cider vinegar and a custom selection of warming spices and citrus.
• The Benefit: A daily tonic designed to boost circulation, support digestion, and act as a "liquid shield" for your immune system.
Part II: The Art of the Soak (Herbal Bath Salts)
After the fire comes the rest. We will transition into the sensory world of botanical bath salts to help soothe "winter bones" and dry skin.
• The Craft: Using a base of mineral-rich Epsom and Himalayan salts, you will learn how to blend therapeutic-grade essential oils with dried botanicals.
• The Blend: Create a custom "Bath Tea" or salt soak using ingredients like soothing Lavender, clearing Eucalyptus, or spirit-lifting Sweet Orange.
• The Benefit: A ritual of magnesium absorption and aromatherapy to calm the nervous system and promote deep, restorative sleep.
What’s Included:
• All organic herbs, roots, salts, and jars.
• Recipe cards and "Care Labels" for your creations.
• A warm, community atmosphere
As always these are herbal remedies and are not medical advice, use your own discretion when using.
