The Winter Gathering

Come join us on Sat Dec 14 2024 from 11.00am for a cozy and festive event in Longton. Get ready for a day filled with winter-themed activities, delicious food, and holiday cheer.

Whether you're looking to sip on hot cocoa, browse through handmade crafts, or enjoy live music from the Band Stand on The Strand, there's something for everyone at The Winter Gathering. Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the season with friends and family.

Other performances throughout the day include:

Storytelling in some of the local Cafe's with Sef Townsend and Felicity Goodman, Morris Dancing, Uke N Sing, Poppy Blond, Poetry with Gabriella Gay, Fenton Town Hall Choir, Facepainting and Henna. Zine workshop with local Artist Natasha Mchugh and Ugly Wreaths with Siobhan Mcaleer. Wonderous outdoor performances with Pif Paf Theatre, Eye of Newt Theatre and Thingumajigig Theatre.

You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy the famous fun fair for all the family, a camel dressed in full arabian attire and to end of the day a short parade with a spectacular fire show from Circus in a Box and local band KiLNE.

A specific Free Family Theatre show will also take place in the Methodist Central Hall from 2.00pm - 3.30pm.
