Dotted with stunning chateaux and long known as the playground of the kings, today the Loire is equally well known for its wines. Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, well-known wines of the Loire, are now staples at top restaurants. The region itself, however, is vastly diverse, comprised of 87 separate wine appellations. Join us to tase wines from Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and some lesser-known areas of this astonishing region.
