Set in the Roaring Twenties, The Wild Party takes place over the course of one night in the Manhattan apartment of vaudevillian performers and couple, Queenie and Burrs ✨VCUarts theatre presents the story filled with jealousy, violence, excess, and indulgence. The musical undoubtedly earns the moniker of “party to end all parties.”
The Wild Party by Andrew Lippa has been adapted from Joseph Moncure March’s 1928 poem of the same name.
The production depicts mature themes that could be potentially disturbing. Recommended for ages 16 and older.
Performances are April 17th-27th, 2025 at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts (922 Park Ave Richmond, VA 23284).
