White Christmas is part of the dream world of entire generations.
Gladbach's most international rock band THE WIDE celebrates a wide Christmas on 30.11. at Messajero.
Their early Christmas concert is a tradition for the German-Scottish-English-Swiss formation with a home base in Mönchengladbach.
Their predecessor band Dead Guitars already held their annual Xmas special in the atmospherically lit Music Club on Sophienstraße, which has long since become a live location legend, and not just because of its living room atmosphere.
But what makes a concert a Christmas concert? The anticipation of what will become a shared listening pleasure among friends, like-minded people and companions on the day before the first day of Advent. And of course the evening itself, the seductive power of habit, the magic inherent in the intense, powerful and yet almost tenderly familiar music of THE WIDE.
