The West Asian and North African Women's Art Library Film Screening

The West Asian and North African Women’s Art Library (WANAWAL) will be hosting a film screening, showcasing short films and video art by practitioners from the WANA region. This event will be the first in a series of upcoming events and exhibitions organised by WANAWAL, and housed at Reference Point.

Reference Point is a multifunctional Library, Bookshop, and bar with the aim to democratise rare visual literature, and provide a community space for creatives in London.

The screening will be hosted by Myriam Mouflih - a film programmer and writer based in Glasgow. Films screened at the event will include the works of Meriem Bennani, Sara Al-Sarraj, Lilian Nejatpour, Ayreen Anastas, MH Sarkis, Sara El-Ali, and Beri Shalmashi.
