About this Event

We are thrilled to invite you to our 2024 AGM, a special occasion where we'll reflect on our remarkable achievements and explore what lies ahead for our charity. This is your chance to connect with our mission, hear about the transformative impact of our projects, and engage in meaningful discussions.

What to Expect:

· An Inspiring Guest Speaker: We welcome Max Altaras, President of Edinburgh Students for Action on Homelessness and Student Action for Refugees (STAR), and a national STAR trustee. Max will share his insights on 'engaging younger volunteers' and building future-ready communities.

· Exclusive Film Screening: Be among the first to watch our brand-new promotional film, which highlights the incredible work we do at The Welcoming Association and celebrates the vibrant contributions of New Scots to our communities.

· Opportunities to Engage: Ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn how you can make an even more significant impact with us!

The Details:

· 5:30 PM: Arrival for tea, coffee, and mingling

· 6:00 PM: The formal AGM begins

· Buffet & Networking: Enjoy a delicious buffet after the meeting and connect with other attendees.

Whether you're a long-time supporter or new to The Welcoming Association, we can't wait to celebrate this evening with you. Come along, get inspired, and help shape our future!

This meeting is open to anyone! We particularly welcome our service users, volunteers, funders, partner organisations and members of the public.
