👰♀️ Join Us for the Wedding Dress Walk!
A unique, feel-good fundraiser in support of The Knights Foundation
Dust off your wedding dress, grab one from a charity shop, or borrow a friend’s — whatever works! On Sunday 26th October, we’re walking for a cause in style… wedding style!
Whether you’ve always wanted to wear your dress again, never had the chance to, or just love the idea of a fabulous day out with purpose, this event is for you.
📍 The Route & Schedule
We’ll meet at Victoria Country Park in Southampton from 11:00am, with time to gather, take some photos, and soak up the atmosphere before setting off.
At 12:00pm, we’ll begin our walk — heading over the iconic Itchen Bridge, making plenty of noise and shaking our collection buckets along the way!
We’re aiming to arrive at St Mary’s Stadium around 2:00pm, where we’ll celebrate with a couple of hours inside the stadium enjoying:
- A well-earned glass of bubbly (or soft drink)
- Light canapés/picky bits (think reception style party)
- And some brilliant photo opportunities pitch-side, in the dugout, and more!
💙 Why We’re Walking
This event is raising vital funds for The Knights Foundation, a charity that supports seriously ill, disabled, or disadvantaged children and their families.
Every £1,000 raised gives one of our families a completely free holiday in our fully accessible Knights Foundation Lodge — a safe, relaxing space to make unforgettable memories.
🎟️ Tickets & Fundraising
- Tickets: £20 per participant
- Minimum fundraising goal: £80 per personTogether, that’s £100 per walker — and every 10 walkers = one free holiday for a family in need.

- Entry into the walk
- Glass of Prosecco or soft drink at the finish
- Light canapés and refreshments
- Stadium photo access and celebratory atmosphere
- Full support with setting up your fundraising page
👗 Dress Code:
Wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, secondhand shop specials, or anything fun and fabulous — the more creative, the better!
