The Weaver of Worlds - Shibari exhibition by Marta Navarrete JiménezThe connection between grandmother, mother, and daughter is deeply rooted in traditions across Latin American cultures. This bond is often linked to the genetic, intellectual, and spiritual lineage of each culture. However, science also confirms that at one point in our lives, we shared the same space, time, and physical body. This underscores the importance of healing our relationships with our mothers and grandmothers within family systems. The emergence of generational trauma begins in the womb, the beginning of our existence together within a small universe: the uterus.
This exhibition invites you to explore the matrix, 'the gateway to the universe,' and connect with your inner world through an artistic Shibari installation. It leads you through materials and different weaving techniques in a symbolic experience of your origin, the mother's womb.
