Get your tickets now!Corn belt meets rust belt with The Waynewood Boys, a bluegrass duo made up of Detroiter Hugh Fader, rural Illinois-bred Tom Megli, and a rotating cast of talented sidemen.
The Boys' repertoire includes traditional bluegrass and adaptations of popular country and rock songs as well as their unique blend of Motown and bluegrass which they call "Mo-grass." The smart melodies and lyrics of original compositions like Fader's up-tempo life lesson, “Off the Sauce,” and Megli's melancholy ballad, “Train” offer insight into the creative minds of these seasoned musicians. In 2021, they released the bluegrass opera album "Sawmill Sally," a tragic-comic love story.
Supplementing their tight musical performances, their on-stage humor and wit engages the audience and keeps them smiling throughout each show.
