Ben Haggard, Merle Haggard’s youngest son, is an incredibly talented musician in his own right. He joined his father’s band at age 15 and performed as lead guitarist on the road with the Strangers for more than a decade. Ben’s father, the iconic country music legend, passed away in 2016 on his 79th birthday. Since the death of his father, Ben, now 32, continues to tour with his brother Noel and The Strangers carrying on a legacy of American country music and the Bakersfield sound. Ben’s largest influences include Roy Nichols, Reggis Young, James Burton, Grady Martin, and of course "The Hag".
