This pre-Remembrance Day tour highlights Guild Park's military legacy. The walk also celebrates the return of the imposing sculpture, War Horse by Emanuel Hahn. The bronze artwork commemorates the draught horses of the First World War. This special 80-minute tour explains Guild Park's remarkable links to Vimy Ridge and to a pair of top secret projects that helped win WWII.

Guild Park is located at 201 Guildwood Pkwy., Toronto, along the Scarborough Bluffs. Plenty of free parking on-site. From the TTC's Kennedy station, the Morningside Bus (Route 116) stops directly at Guild Park's front gates.
The tour starts by Guild Park's Sculptor's Cabin, close to the flagpole near the park's entrance (watch for signs and banners). This is an outdoor walk near Lake Ontario, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing. The tour takes place rain or shine.
The event is organized by Friends of Guild Park, the award-winning, not-for-profit organization that brings activities and improvements to the 88-acre park.
