**SAVE THE DATE! ~ MORE DETAILS TO COME**
The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall) in Washington, D.C., will be on display in Troy, NY from June 5-8, 2025. The C.R.A.B. Garrison #1954 is honored to be the only applicant selected in all of New York State to host The Wall That Heals during its 30th Anniversary Tour in 2025. The 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War Commemoration concludes this year, making it even more special to bring The Wall That Heals to Rensselaer County. It's our year to highlight the Capital District's dedication to veterans.
The Wall That Heals honors the 58,281 service members who lost their lives and all who served defending our country during the Vietnam War. As a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., the full exhibit consists of The Wall replica and the Mobile Education Center. This three-quarter scale replica is 375 feet in length and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point. The exhibit is free to the public and will be on display at La Salle Institute. The Wall That Heals will be open 24 hours a day beginning Thursday, June 5, 2025, until its closing on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM, during which time thousands of people throughout the Capital District and beyond will travel to pay tribute to those who served.
