About the Film

The Waiting Game follows the incredible story of the ABA (American Basketball Association) and its players, a flamboyant rival league to the NBA where our Indiana Pacers began. The league helped create much of what the billion-dollar NBA is today, including the 3-point shot, the slam dunk contest, and innovations in fashion and culture. But the players were ultimately forgotten in a business deal gone bad. A small Indy-based nonprofit fights back in this David vs. Goliath film.
