The Aberdeen Community Concert Association kicks off our 2025/2026 season with a band of brothers from rural North Dakota! The Waddington Brothers performs what they live, music that is real to them, that takes listeners on a journey through the heart of the American West. Performing cowboy campfire songs, gospel music or bluegrass favorites, The Waddington Brothers bring a new sound to old favorites! Join us on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 7pm.
Skillfully blended cowboy and bluegrass music in a style that is timelessly classic yet refreshingly new and unique, their sound ranges from hard-driving bluegrass to mellow acoustic tones. Whether they’re singing about cowboys or cabins, hunting or horseback riding, ranches or Indian reservations, The Waddington Brothers share heartfelt songs that evoke feelings of warmth, appreciation, and a genuine connection to the way life was lived by our country’s pioneers.
They draw their inspiration from many pools of influences and describe their sound as a mixture of traditional bluegrass, gospel, and Western strains reminiscent of the Sons of the Pioneers; something brand new-something powerfully different-a breath of fresh air to audiences who experiences their authentic synergy and blend.
