The Von Donks relive their vaudeville glory days, from silent film to 80s synth, after their parent’s untimely death in a tap dancing mishap.Estranged siblings, Andrew and Louisa Von Donk perform a career-spanning retrospective to honour their family vaudeville troupe after the untimely death of their parents in a freak tap-dancing accident.
They’ll revisit all the songs and routines that made their family a household name from the 1900s to the 1990s. From silent film to 80s electro albums, the Von Donk family did it all. There will of course be Music! Dancing! Sketches! Costumes! Rivalry! An accompanist!
A high-energy, modernised tribute to all of the styles of music, comedy and theatre in the 20th century (except minstrel shows.)
