"The Voice of Christmas"is a faith-based adaptation of the Nutcracker performed by our SiSu® Dance Company. Performances will be held at Sandia Preparatory School Theater in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Saturday, December 14h: 6:30pm
Sunday, December 15th: 2:00pm
SiSu® Dance Academy owner, director and choreographer Megan Nicko weaves the origin of Christmas into this faith-based adaptation of the Nutcracker production.
“Watching the dancers understand the biblical point of Christmas and dancing the message through their art is mesmerizing,” notes Nicko. “The passion really shines with their emotions through each scene and will touch the audiences in our community again, leaving an everlasting footprint on their hearts.”
Nicko recognizes her dance students’ desire to perform in classical dances. In this production, she strives to provide her performers the experience of the celebration, understanding, and true meaning of Christmas through her re-imagined, holiday ballet.
