SATURDAY, APRIL 20, 2024
The Commemorative Air Force and the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center will host its third annual evening of dinner and dance, The Victory Ball.
This year’s ball will feature live music by The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, a cocktail reception, and a VIP Meet & Greet. The evening will include a cocktail hour, a three-course dinner, an open bar, and plenty of time to dance the night away. Guests will enjoy the night in a re-created World War II era setting, including historic aircraft.
The Victory Ball aims to bring together community, industry, and trade leaders for a night of jazz and dancing. Ticket proceeds will benefit the educational programs of these organizations.
SPECIAL GUEST, Tammie Jo Shults
Tammie Jo Shults possessed an early interest in flying, but she faced various obstacles on her path to becoming a military pilot. Applying her lifelong trait of perseverance, she eventually became one of the first female F/A-18 Hornet pilots in the United States Navy.
EMCEE, Mike Doocey
Fox 4 Dallas' weeknight sports anchor for more than 25 years.
ATTIRE
Fashionable Vintage 1940's Cocktail Attire
We encourage people to dress in their best vintage party attire for the ball, so think of old Hollywood glam or vintage military attire. As an alternative, modern cocktail attire.
Please note: We ask that attendees refrain from wearing Japanese or Nazi uniforms or clothing with the Confederate flag. Anyone wearing these outfits will be asked to change or leave.
