This exciting six-week course will look at the changing times under the reign of Queen Victoria. Between sessions you will read “The Ruby in the Smoke” by Philip Pullman.During the sessions, using a comprehensive study guide, we will complete some activities on the book; learn about key historical events, key people and social change; and do some cooking, art and craft projects. We will end each session by watching the BBC dramatisation of the book covering what we have read that week.
