The Vibrant Violin - Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 4pm
Why is the violin such a beloved instrument? Learn about the history of the violin and other stringed instruments. Come hear beautiful music by composers who played the violin and wrote for the versatile and highly valued instrument. Special guest, international superstar of the violin Elizabth Pitcairn will come to perform on her famous "Red Mendelssohn" Stradivarius Violin (his name is Felix!). Elizabeth will play a sampling of his evening program and there will be lively demonstrations and Q&A throughout the show.
Community Concerts for Kids is a series created with our youngest audience members in mind. All concerts are interactive, 60 minutes in length, and are FREE to all who attend. All ages are welcome!

Internationally Acclaimed Violin Virtuoso - Elizabeth Pitcairn
At 7:30 pm there will be a full length concert with paid admission. Anyone who attends the kiddie show and brings proof of attendance will receive 50% off the concert ticket price for the evening show (2 tickets per person will be honored at this discount).
We request that you "purchase" your free ticket through eventbrite to hold your reservation. Please consider making a donation at checkout on Eventbrite or at the door when attending the concert. Your donations help keep these concerts free for the community.
