Nijmegen: City of Health & High Tech Innovation
Nijmegen is where innovators thrive. People who strive for change and meaning, for themselves, for each other, and for the world, now and in the future. A vibrant Health & High Tech ecosystem of driven and creative minds; scholars, students, young pro’s, scientists, experts, startups and corporations.
At The Vibe of the Future Festival, we bring them all together. We share their inspiring stories of acquiring knowledge, overcoming obstacles, making a positive impact and contributing to a society that's ready for the future. Herewith we contribute to Nijmegen's broader profile by increasing visibility, enhancing attractiveness, and fostering collaboration.
The festival is designed for a diverse audience engaged in Health & High Tech and will open up in three main locations: Noviotech Campus, Heijendaal Campus and the City Hub Mariënbrug.

The festival represents a program with inspiration, wonder, celebration, being realistic, genuine, and at times, challenging. All brought to life through the following possible elements:
- Programs on stage: designed for innovation leaders & experts in Health & High Tech
- Experiences, inspiration and interactions in open lounges: where talent, innovation, and entrepreneurship come together.
- Behind-the-scenes glimpses: Leading companies open their doors.
- DemoDay: Mercator Launch @Heijendaal.
- TechnicDay: @Technovium where youngster till 14 years meet Tech.
- Night-of-the-Nerds on tour: activate and inspire VO scholars for innovation & impact.
- Health & High Tech Career Day: all career events bundled on Thursdays.
- Investment Day Radboud: matchmaking for investors, entrepreneurs and top researchers in life sciences & health.
- Interactive workshops: featuring role models, a 'FuckUp' session, and speed-dates between companies and students.
- EU Researcher’s Night: Fridays ±600 EU students come to Donders institute.
- Role-It-Out Women: inspiring female rolemodels in (high)tech.
- EuroPAT 2024: European Packaging, Assembly, and Test Workshop (option).
- CityHub Dome: to inspire the broad public community of Nijmegen.
- Art and creativity: highlighting innovation through various artistic expressions in collaboration with InScience, Lindenberg, ArtEZ, GoShort, Wintertuin, LUX and more.
- Festival setup: food trucks, coffee bars, cozy chairs, and relaxing music.
Program: Three days of innovation, inspiration, and community engagement:
- Thursday afternoon + evening for a kickstart (eg. Night of the Nerds, CareerEvent, Festivalopening @Noviotech)
- Friday for business meetings and workshops (eg. EU Researcher’s Night)
- Saturday for a broader audience (eg. CityHub Dome, Technicday).
