The festival is filled with inspiring talks, presentations, panel discussions, careers, and recruitment opportunities.

Hosted by Escape Studios, The VFX Festival brings together the creative community, allowing emerging talent to explore the best of the screen industries and providing opportunities for professionals to expand their knowledge.
The festival features insights into award-winning productions, inspiring expert-led presentations and careers advice, as well as the latest trends, technology, and innovation.
In 2023, the festival will be a hybrid, hosted at Escape Studios' central London campus for a limited number of attendees and streamed live online to provide access for a global audience

The VFX Festival Emerging Talent will be hosted as hybrid event, face-to-face at Escape Studios and live online.

Online: a link to the event will be shared with registered attendees prior to the event date
Is the content available on-demand after the event? Due to the exclusive content of the sessions, they will not be available to watch after the event. All sessions will be delivered live only.
Are there any minimum age requirements to attend the event? This part of The VFX Festival is tailored to students within higher education (18 years old+) , graduates and professionals. Please visit thevfxfestival.com to learn about other The VFX Festival events.
What's the ticket price? Please see tickets section for the prices.
What's the refund policy? You will be able to receive a refund via EventBrite. In case you need to cancel your ticket please do it at least 48 hours before the event. Please keep in mind we offer limited tickets to the face-to-face events
Can I book a ticket for a group of students? Yes, we offer discounted face-to-face and online group tickets. Please note that face-to-face tickets are booked on a first come, first served basis. Due to limited space, we offer max. 15 tickets per institution to face-to-face events.

How do I access the event? After registration you will receive an e-ticket as proof of your booking.
Face-to-face: Attendees joining face-to-face will need to bring confirmation of the ticket (digital or printed version) to the festival venue on the day for check in.
Online events: Attendees joining us online will receive their unique link to join the event two days before (Please check your junk mail if you cannot find the link). If you have any issues joining on the day, please email us at [email protected].
Are the face-to-face / physical events and online events the same? Yes, the festival is hosted as a hybrid event. Most of our speakers will be joining us at Escape Studios to deliver their sessions. Attendees at the face-to-face events will have an opportunity to network with speakers, artists, recruiters and other attendees during dedicated sessions (and between scheduled presentations).
Should I join the face-to-face or online event?
It’s your personal choice to join the festival face-to-face or online. Attendees joining face-to-face events will have an opportunity to network with artists, recruiters, speakers and other attendees during dedicated networking sessions taking place throughout the day.
