Ranga Records are coming to Brighton for the first time this March in celebration of The Veltmans release of their latest single, with support from Lynnie Snow, Scarsdale Fats and Cade.Ranga Records presents:
The Veltmans - The Veltmans are a 4 piece alternative rock band from Eastbourne. Underestimate all of those words at your own loss. Having cut their teeth as a busy young indie/alt band across the South, with countless gigs. Constantly carving their sound, and musical experimentation now under their belt, it’s left them confidently straddling a monumental alt-rock, shoegaze and emo tinged island of sound. Each and every word. Vocal dynamics range from dialect inflected heartfelt tales told close, fragile falsetto into full blown screams, to convey such a pure and unfettered level of frustration and anger at the world. They want you to shut the fuck up and listen.
Lynnie Snow - Self-proclaimed ‘Brighton-based cool girl’ Lynnie Snow is a promising upcomer in the alternative rock/pop scene. Inspired by the likes of Radiohead and Elliott Smith, her music is dark yet playful as the sweetness of her voice establishes soft authority over the gritty and revealing lyrics. On stage, Snow is feisty and charismatic as she delivers a captivating performance of songs like ‘Streetlight, Save Me’ and ‘Bloodsport’, encapsulating the variety of her artistry with loud, powerful moments against haunting and melancholy notes. Like mud on a pretty dress, her onstage world is elegant and alluring but cut by the intensity of her sound. With a debut album set for release in 2026, Snow has been readily establishing herself in local scenes through her strong performance, having headlined the opening of new Brighton venue Quarters in late 2025. Soon to be in a town near you, Lynnie Snow is a standout one-to-watch that you won’t want to miss.
Scarsdale Fats - A South London 4-piece blending ‘70s psychedelia, ‘90s grunge, and modern alt-rock. Driving rhythms, haunting guitars, and lyrics exploring transience and mortality, shifting from electrifying, high energy riffs to Eastern-inspired solos and heartfelt rhythmic ballads, evoking a spectrum of reflective, melancholic emotions.
