The Veteran Cycle Club Presents: Annual Pedersen Gathering The Annual Pedersen Gathering for 2025 will again be based at Kingshill House Creative Centre.
On the Saturday we will gather for tea and biscuits at 10am, then at approximately 10:30 will be conducted on a tour of the Pedersen sights in Dursley but Andrew Barton from the Dursley Heritage Centre. We will return to Kingshill House for a ploughman’s buffet lunch followed by a visit to the cemetery to pay our respects at Mikael Pedersen’s grave. At 3:30pm we return to base for a cream tea and a public display of the machines.
Following the display there will be a social evening with talks related to Pedersen. The centre’s bar will be open from 10am to 9pm serving drinks, including tea and coffee and a pizza van will be visiting to supply us with food in the evening. There is ample all-day parking available.
There will be a short ride on Sunday of 15-20 miles, from Slimbridge to Berkeley Castle.
Both members of the Veteran-Cycle Club and non-members are welcome and a charge of £18.50 per person will be made to cover the use of the centre and the ploughman’s buffet, however, non-members are required to take out temporary members for the weekend at a cost of £2 unless they wish to join the Club. Pre-booking, using the form below, is essential.
