Join us for a conversation with Bethany Henning (The College of St. Scholastica) and Seth Vannatta (Morgan State University) as they present the contents of their recently published book, A Metaphysics for the Liberal Arts: Process, Quality, and Continuity. Therein they propose novel ways of thinking about the current crisis facing liberal arts education, identify several common mistakes that we make in defending the liberal arts (and explain why they ultimately fail), and propose pragmatic solutions that are grounded in the value of the liberal arts. Various beverages and snacks will be provided.
