About this Event
This year, the Equity/SOLT Agreement for the West End and the Equity & bectu/UK Theatre Agreement for commercial and subsidised venues elsewhere in UK will be renegotiated.
We've already started getting ready for the negotiations with Equity, SBTD & ALPD's earlier work on designer fees, and the ongoing conversations happening across all unions and associations about assistant/associate definitions, job descriptions and copyright protections - but what else needs to change?
This open meeting is an opportunity for designers to come together to discuss terms and conditions of engagement across the sector, to hear the results of the fees survey and to feed in to plans for renegotiating the agreements.
We'll be sharing initial draft claims and priorities for the upcoming negotiations, and there will be plenty of time for provocations/ideas and concerns. We hope you can join us.
