In connection with Stavanger’s 900th anniversary, we are taking a closer look at part of the city’s technological history over the past 175 years.We are launching a lecture series related to four of the city’s special landmarks - the large towers. In the cause of 2025, we will organize ‘history evenings’ at Valbergtårnet, Vålandstårnet, Ullandhaugtårnet, and Skråtårnet in Jåttåvågen. We will, of course, start with the most centrally located Valbergtårnet.
