Two awesome acts for $15. Get on this and support live music in Regional NSW!The Urban Chiefs are a Psyche–Blues–Rock two-piece from Tamworth, NSW, who’ve been tearing up stages since 2009. Blake Saban (guitars & vox) runs an arsenal of custom guitars through multiple amps and a bass rig, building a sound so massive it shakes the floor. His gravel-soaked vocals cut through the chaos while Glendon Finlay’s tribal, hard-hitting drumcussion drives it all like a freight train. There are no samples, no tricks—just two guys making one hell of a noise. Crowds often can’t believe it’s all live, but that’s the raw, unfiltered power of the Chiefs.“…a cracking slab of Psyche-Blues!” – Rhythm Magazine“Woodstock psychedelia with slide guitar fiery enough to weld a car axle.” – Firebrand Rock Radio USAWith 1,350+ shows across 16 years, national airplay on Triple J, Double J, and Rage, and standout festival sets at Byron Bay Bluesfest, Adelaide Fringe, Mitchell Creek Rock ’n’ Blues, Airlie Beach Festival, Sydney Blues & Roots Festival and more, The Urban Chiefs have carved a reputation as one of Australia’s most explosive live acts.Ariane Campbell is a Sydney-born, New York-based singer, songwriter, and playwright whose sound sits somewhere between Joan Jett and PJ Harvey. A former Sydney Youth Choir member, Campbell has spent years honing her craft across Australia, London, and New York. She fronts the no-holds-barred alt-rock band The Cutaway, alongside drummer Rory Mackenzie (The Church). As a solo artist, Campbell has released two acclaimed albums: Once Broke (2020), recorded with Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus) and Mick Skelton (The Baby Animals), and Puppetmaster (2021), featuring collaborations with Kortini and Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), and mastered at Sterling Sound NYC. A third album, produced with Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), is slated for 2025.Her music has featured on Bondi Ink TV, ABC (AUS/USA), BBC America, and more, with coverage in The Brag, The Music, and LOTL. She has toured widely, earned three Australian Independent Music Award nominations, and counts supporting The Troggs on their “Wild Thing” 50th Anniversary Tour among her career highlights.Beyond music, Campbell is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Art, a thrice-produced playwright, and a member of the Australian Writers Guild. Her play Defenses enjoyed an extended Off-Broadway season and won an AWG Mentorship Award before being developed into the screenplay Provocations. Acting credits include roles on HBO’s Veep and MTV’s Pranked. With residencies across NYC, Sydney, and London, and a reputation for fearless, whiskey-fueled live sets, Campbell embodies the artist’s creed she champions: “Critics criticise. Artists create.”Her songs are available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon, and at live shows.
