The UNLV Consortium of Arts + Medicine Presents: Circus Meets Medicine

Circus Meets Medicine is a day long event featuring presentations, keynote speeches, live circus demonstrations, Q&A, and open dialogue designed to foster communication and mutual understanding between healthcare and the performing arts. Despite the important role of the performing arts in Las Vegas's identity as a tourist destination, the unique healthcare needs of the artists themselves is often poorly understood. We will be bringing in experts to discuss mental wellness, physical health, current and future research, and community aspects of the performing arts. This conference will highlight the work that is already being done while encouraging further research and advances in the care of performing artists' wellbeing.
