Free to attend with contributions from the list of recommended donations, but please consider giving cash as well for things like bus passes that are always in need. Thank you!
Recommended donations:
1. Non-perishable food: Canned goods (with tabs), granola bars, packaged nuts, instant oatmeal, and easy-to-travel snacks.
2. Hygiene products: Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, and wet wipes.
3. Clothing: Gently used coats, jackets, sweaters, socks, hats, gloves, and blankets.
4. Footwear: Sturdy shoes, socks, boots, and sandals.
5. Personal care items: Lip balm, lotion, hand sanitizers, and disposable razors.
6. Bedding: Sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows.
7. Re-usable water bottles
8. Tents & tarps: Lightweight tents, tarps, and sleeping pads.
9. First-aid supplies: Bandages, antiseptic wipes, gauze, and other basic medical supplies.
10. Sunscreen/hats
All donations and any monetary proceeds will be distributed via Mikala's grass roots outreach within our local communities. If you're interested in learning more or volunteer opportunities, reach out to Mikala directly.
