Experience compelling rhythms and storied songs at a concert with The Uncharted Project.
Our band performs engaging, upbeat jazzy-soul, R&B and blues music in an energetic style. We are a music duo comprised of LA Jazz Guitarist John Fortune’ and acoustic Indie Artist Cassia Dawn from Oregon via Hollywood.

John Fortune':
John Fortune' is a songwriter, musician and producer. Growing up in the Caribbean and listening to classic rock along with native music has brought a refreshing mix of influences to his guitar style.
John Fortune’ is known for his energetic, sometimes extremely complex, jazz and soul hand-strumming style. He writes and produces recordings for others as well as himself, including demos for singers pursuing a music career. John has recorded CDs and soundtracks that are listed on iTunes and Soundcloud.com/john4tune. Some of his tracks have been used for short film projects, film docu projects, and video intro tags as well as advertising.
John has played for a local talk show in Los Angeles, and has played guitar and bass tracks on a number of projects for studio musicians in Hollywood, as well as playing with accomplished studio and touring musicians.
John plays acoustic, electric and bass guitar as well as singing vocals. He attended the Musicians' Institute in Los Angeles both as a Guitar Major and as a Digital Workstation Music Producer. He and his family live in Central Oregon.
Cassia Dawn:
Cassia Dawn has played at various venues in Hollywood CA, Austin TX and Oregon for events, weddings, and festivals … from opening ceremonies with the National Anthem to singing on the main stage.
In addition to attending the Hollywood Musician’s Institute Independent Artist program, Cassia Dawn has opened for Independent Artists Paul Wright & Bradford Loomis. She is known for her strong vocal talent and sweet, folksey lyrics and rhythms. More info at www.cassiadawn.com
Cassia Dawn has performed overseas with children and adults on missions programs in South America, Europe and Ukraine. She continues to serve the community working with youth groups and youth-oriented inspirational outreaches.
Recordings: "Who I am Underneath" (8 track CD); Singles - "Home", "Dreaming" & collaboration recordings with John 4tune on "The Uncharted Project EP".
She has done professional voice-over clips and her music has served as a soundtrack for various local business and film projects.
