We are delighted to announce that the UK Proms Weekend will be coming to the world famous Whitby Abbey in 2025 as part of a UK wide tour of eight iconic historic locations including Carlisle Castle, Pendennis Castle and Bolsover Castle.
This incredible venue will provide the perfect backdrop for a magical night of music under the stars - as the acclaimed UK Proms Orchestra and a host of special guests take you on a journey through some of the most loved classical pieces from TV, film and theatre, before a rapturous finale featuring all the classics from the Last Night of the Proms.
Our 2025 Tour will feature:
- New set lists of the most loved classics from stage and screen
- Well known hosts
- Incredible vocalists
- Our new and improved huge stage with incredible sound system
- TV Wall
- 3 massive bars including our very own Beartown Brewey draft lager and IPA bar.
- A wide selection of street food vendors
We have a strict limit on capacity at this venue so please book early to avoid disappointment as the tickets will go fast.
500 early bird tickets are on sale at 6pm on the 20th November offering a huge saving of 30% off standard tickets.

Early bird tickets (first 500 people) - £35
2nd release (1000 people) - £45
3rd release (500 people - £50

VIP Enclosure
Including: central stage position, seat provided, private bar with 3 complimentary drinks tokens, VIP toilets, programme and flag.
Early bird tickets (first 20 people) - £100
Tickets purchased before the 3rd July - £140

Children
Children under the age of 12 are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Strictly a maximum of 2 children per adult.
Disability and Assistance
Carers are admitted free of charge when accompaning someone with a disability who has purchased a ticket. Proof of disability (e.g Blue Badge) is required on entering the arena. Strictly one carer per purchased ticket.

Other Information
Please note that this is an outdoor, picnic style event so no chair is provided (excluding VIP Enclosure), but you are very welcome to bring your own camp chair, etc. with you.
As this is an outdoor event we are at the mercy of the weather and the show will go ahead unless we deem the weather as a safety risk. So please come prepared for whatever the elements may be.
Food and drink: You are very welcome to bring your own picnic to the event, however alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the arena as per site policy. There will be a large selection of bars and food vendors available on site.

Car parking: There is no official concert parking on site (with the exception of Blue Badge Parking). There are however several council operated car parks close to the abby.
Restrictions:
We are sorry but dogs, bbq’s and glass are not permitted.
