The UFA Canada returns with their flagship tournament after a long hiatus. Finally the Super 6s is back with our 8th edition.The objective is simple : Find the best Bangladeshi Canadian soccer team.
Since 2012 we have organized 19 tournaments for our Bangladeshi community and we would like to thank all of the participants over the past decade to make this possible.
This tournament will once again be in the memory of our dear friend, Mashroor Sharar who was a part of the very first Super 6s 2012 winning team. We will continue to honour him.
Once again we would like to put on a great show for our Bangladeshi community and do things a bit differently than before.
We will be hosting Super 6s over two days, as we will have two categories this time-open age and 35+ for the young veterans.
For the first time ever, it will be completely free to play!
Here are a few important details:
Category: Open age
Format: To be confirmed (6 or 7 a side)
Date: July 27, 2024
Time: 11 am - 6 pm
Entry fee: $300 (fully refundable upon successful participation in the tournament)
Squad limit: 13 players
Age restrictions: N/A
*Only players of Bangladeshi origin are allowed to play. This rule will be strictly enforced. Our aim is to find the best Bangladeshi Canadian team and a lot of emphasis will be put on that. Any team in violation of this rule will be immediately ejected from the tournament.
*We will be collecting IDs of all participants.
Prizes: The biggest cash prize ever given!! (Open age)
Champions: $2500 cash, Trophies & Medals
Runner up: Trophies & Medals
MVP: $300 cash + trophy + one night stay at a cottage in Muskoka courtesy of Fairy Bay Lakehouse + Signed Jaap Stam shirt
Top Scorer: $200 cash + Trophy
Best midfielder: Trophy + Gift card
Best Defender: Trophy + Gift card
Best Goalkeeper: Trophy + Gift card

Squad limit: 13 players

Age restrictions: For players who are 35 and above with the exception of 2 players you can have under age to give those tired legs a boost.

Professional referees will referee the tournament

We are trying our best to arrange a halal food truck for the event (to be confirmed)
