About this Event
The aim of this performance is not only to denounce the military actions of the Russian government towards the Ukraine, but to portray the first-hand perspective of a person, who migrated to the UK in order to escape the war .
Michael Abbott (dancer), who will do improvisational dance for this performance.
Katya Kan (visual artist), who will paint traditional, Ukrainian designs to the accompanying music as well as completing the costume design for Michael and Olga.
Olga Shvets (poet and war survivor), who will read her poetry in English and Ukrainian.
This performance has been previously displayed at the vortex jazz club and acqua7 art space in London, UK.
