The Twilight Sessions at Blackbird Vineyards 🍷✨

Join us as we launch the Twilight Sessions, a new after-hours music series at Blackbird Vineyards - where great wine meets live music, showcasing the talents of our Napa community.
Our second session of the year features eggcorn. eggcorn is the moniker for Vallejo-based artist, Lara Hoffman, whose sophomore album Observer Effect was released in 2025 through Spirit House Records. Named after the phenomenon in which the act of observing changes that which is being observed, the album began to materialize during the weeks of prescribed inactivity Hoffman experienced after breaking a bone in her left foot. Taking an incisive look at the power that we have over ourselves and those around us, Observer Effect explores the ways in which we alter our own experience through reflection. Observer Effect pivots from the synth-based electronic realm of eggcorn’s first album Your Own True Love to pop-tinged chamber folk with a full band ensemble. She is joined today by Ali Gummess (violin/vocals), Joe Shoemaker (keys), Kyle Stringer (bass), and Peter Craft (drums).
