What we know about climate change is bad, and should have prompted us to act a long time ago. But what we don’t know is potentially much worse. NYU climate economist Gernot Wagner discusses what we know, what we don’t, and the implications for climate policy in the U.S. and globally.
Speaker
Gernot Wagner is a climate economist. He teaches climate economics and policy at NYU, where he is a clinical associate professor. Wagner is a 2021-2022 Kleinman Center Visiting Scholar.
Moderator
Arthur van Benthem is an expert in environmental and energy economics, exploring the economic efficiency of energy policy. He is a faculty fellow at the Kleinman Center and an associate professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at Wharton.
