The Tropical Kiki Ball is going to take place in our favorite urban jungle of Planeta Za. Prepare to feel the burn as the city’s fiercest take the stage.

Prepare lip sync performance (or production) to a summer-vibe song of your choice. After all participants have performed, our judges will select the winner (that means no battles).
Send the version of the song you will perform (mp3) to [email protected] by August 8th.
NOTE:
♡ Ballroom is first and foremost a space for self-expression for BIPoC, LGBTQIA+ and allies. A space created by Black and Latinx trans women.
♡ Ballroom is an inclusive space and all bodies are welcome to join and celebrate, but we expect sensitivity, awareness, and allyship for the community, both in and out of the Ballroom. There is no space for any forms of racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, or any other form of discrimination.
♡ Photography and videography are strictly prohibited during the Body and SxX siren categories.
♡ Everybody is welcome to join and watch the ball. You can cheer for the performers, you can dance to the beat, you can express your joy however you want to, but please do not enter the stage if you are not ready for it!
♡ There are no rules for spectator outfits. But feel free to get tropical! The category description could be an inspiration for spectators' dress code too!
♡ White participants should always refrain from braids, afro wigs etc. (This might lead to a chop! We are faithful that you will manage to interpret the assignment without appropriation.)
Ballroom terminology:
OTA = open to all genders and identities
BQ = butch queens (cisgender gay/bi men)
FQ = femme queens (trans women)
TM = trans men
FF = female figures (trans women, drag queens, cisgender women)
MF = male figures (cis men, drag kings, trans men)
NB = nonbinary and gender nonconforming
Beginner = everyone who is walking a specific category under a year and never wons
