The Weaver Incorporation of Dundee and Dundee Congregational Church in association with Speakeasy Scotland CIC present The Traveling Janes in Concert.
The Traveling Janes are a collective of women who perform vibrant vintage jazz and old time blues, with a distinctive twist in that they also add uplifting folk songs (1850s–1933) from Ireland and the British Isles. The January 2026 lineup brings together artists from California, France, Texas, Singapore and Scotland : Katie Cavera - banjo / guitar , Lauryn Gould - reeds, Ophélie Luminati drums , Ali Affleck - vocals , Amanda Lee - piano and Danielle Price on tuba .
Since launching in 2023, the band have sold out gigs at Ronnie Scott’s in London appeared twice at Ascona Jazz Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Hällevik , Slangerup, Caveau de la Huchette, Osaka Lindy Exchange, the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, and more.
The Jane’s only tour once or twice a year in the UK so don’t miss the chance to catch them - this time featuring two fresh faces from Texas and France to Scotland!
