"THE TOTALLY BITCHIN' NIGHT OF THE DEAD! -DEADICATION" rises from the grave on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, offering a vibrant and inclusive experience that blends the cherished traditions of "DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS" with the electrifying energy of 1980s Los Angeles culture.
"DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS" is a deeply ingrained part of the cultural fabric of Los Angeles, a city with a significant Mexican heritage and a community that embraces remembrance with beauty and spirit. - Deadication: Central Ofrenda / Altar"Deadication" A central altar of the dead. A focal point of the event. A fusion of traditional day of the dead offerings and 1980's elelemets.
- Deadication Artist Displays: Totally Bitchin' Day of the Dead Art & Mini Artist Altars Experience a vibrant collection of creations and artwork from contemporary creative artists, each altar uniquely blending into the "DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS" themes with the bold and iconic aesthetics of the 1980s. Within the space altar area, the contributing artists will create a personal mini-altars (offering), adding their artistic expression to the exhibition.
- Sweet Sounds Of The Dead: - FEATURING TRACY G AND GRATZ.Tracy G, the legendary guitarist & songwriter known for his electrifying work with the iconic heavy metal band “DIO” and his unique project “EL MARIACHI SEXORCISCO,” a twisted acoustic duo drenched in Latin flair and horror vibes.
- The Alley of the Dead: Zombie Vendors and Artisans: A thrilling and visually captivating outdoor market with the dead with a live DJ, drawing in collectors, enthusiasts, and spectators.
- Black Carpet Walk of the Dead: Dust off your neon, crimp your hair, and get ready to party with the undead. It's 'THE TOTALLY BITCHIN' NIGHT OF THE DEAD!', a ghastly gathering with an '80s heart. Walk the 'undead red carpet' in your most bodacious zombie or Day of the Dead cosplay. Whether you're a punk-rock zombie, a heavy-metal ghoul, or a decomposing 1980s celebrity, we want to see it!
- Costume Contest: Heads up, ghouls! This year, we're taking it back to the '80s. 'The Totally Bitchin' Night of the Dead!' is back, and we're looking for the coolest, most rad zombie looks this side of the cemetery. Come as a zombie skateboarder, a comic book character in Day of the Dead makeup, or even a past President. This is the one night of the year where the 1980s are allowed back from the dead, so get creative! The 'undead red carpet' awaits, and the best zombie cosplay will totally win big. The prize for the best look is, like, a total no-brainer.
