Coming soon to a village hall (not) near you!THE TORRIDON GIANTS,
An exciting suite of music about mountains, being played IN the mountains at Kinlochewe Village Hall on April13th.
Scored for a small orchestra, it lasts 30 minutes and describes in turn the four great mountains overlooking Loch Torridon: Beinn Eighe, Beinn Dearg, Beinn Alligin and Liathach.
Players come from all over the Highlands, and beyond, but there is still room for additional participation, especially on oboe, trumpet and strings, but happy to hear from others as well.
We will be gathering at 10am to rehearse till mid-afternoon and have a final run-through at 4pm.
The event will be funded by donations from players and audience. There will be cake!
