About this Event
This June, American Liberty Ballet presents “The Titanic Tale,” an original story ballet that reimagines the historic sinking of the Titanic, weaving in the folklore and mystical allure of the North Atlantic sea. Set to Austrian-American composer Fritz Kreisler's opulent melodies and the haunting orchestrations of Irish composer Ina Boyle, "The Titanic Tale" beckons audiences into a realm of refined elegance and haunting enchantment.
Embark on the poignant journey of Elizabeth Carroll, a young Irish-American heiress who falls in love with James Murphy, a third-class dreamer bound for New York. As the ship meets its tragic fate, Elizabeth is plunged into the depths, where she finds herself in the clutches of a captivating sea nymph queen and her ethereal entourage. Will James rescue her in time for them to live out the dreams they imagined on the decks of the ill-fated vessel, or will they meet a watery end?
Join us for a captivating retelling of a classic story, as you’ve never seen it before!
