At the Thursday Wine Club, we believe that while the technical details of wine are important, your first priority should be to drink the wine, and figure out what you enjoy.
In collaboration with wine expert Abhinay Jhaveri, we are hosting an intimate evening at Malido Apéro, Kala Ghoda, designed to strip away the intimidation of wine culture. Abhinay uses his "approachable expertise" to curate a selection of wines that are not only delicious but—crucially—readily available in Mumbai at accessible price points,
Meet Your "friendly neighbourhood wine guy" Abhinay has spent years obsessing over the details so you don't have to. His credentials include:
- WSET Level 3 in Wines (Merit)
- French Wine Scholar (Highest Honors)
- Spanish Wine Scholar (Highest Honors)
- Italian Wine Scholar (In Progress)
Don’t worry—he’s promised not to bring his textbooks to the bar. He might bring a map or two if he’s feeling particularly "scholarly," but the only thing you'll be required to study is the glass in front of you.
