About this Event
Pilot Ratcliff, in conjunction with BPA South Georgia, Thrillof the FIrst Flight LLC (TOTFF), Waycross -Ware County Airport and local leaders are sponsoring an aviation event where a limited amount of youth will get the opportunity to fly in an aircraft. There will be a flight simulator on the premises for an on ground flight, a static aircraft display and a flight observation area. Aviation Historians will present the history of African Americans in aviation and the importance of Tuskegee Airmen in the Civil Rights Movement. Free food will be provided for all youth, vendors will be present for all other participants. All participants are encouraged to bring your own chair.
