The thing is the most prestigious dodgeball invitational championship in North America, and it is back for year three! The top teams from the USA and Canada will be coming together to crown the best of the best! The Thing 2024 will be a two day tournament taking place on April 27-28 in Seattle, WA. We'll be expanding the number of teams from 20 to 24. As usual, our championship will take place at the incredible Academy Sports Center in Lynnwood, WA.
The aim of this invitational tournament is to bring together the best club dodgeball teams on the continent to create the highest level of competition anywhere. There will be Women’s and Men’s Divisions, and six invites extended to teams from Canada, and six extended to teams from the USA for each division.

The Thing 2024 is going to be something special. Here’s how you can get involved:
?️ Attending: Spectators are welcome! Dodgeball is best experienced in person. All are invited to attend The Thing and see highly competitive dodgeball up close. Admission is FREE!
?️ Watching: Can’t be there in person? We’ve got you covered. We will be streaming and broadcasting all of the action. Join Bill Fischer and a cast of dodgeball experts as they break down the dodgeball action and take you on a journey all the way to the championship matches. Streaming links and info to follow.
? Volunteering: It takes an army of helpers to do The Thing. We’re looking for all kinds of volunteers to be a part of this event. Are you in your happy place when carrying heavy things? Do you love welcoming traveleres to the Dodgeball Seattle and USA Dodgeball community? We’d love your help.
