A classroom is the world in miniature. A series of thefts at Carla's school puts students on edge, with faculty suspicion falling on one of Carla's students, the son of immigrants, sparking calls of racism. The response to the theft escalates the situation and makes everything worse.
The film continuously builds pressure as it dives into social commentary on the current state of the world while keeping its own story telling strengths.
