About this Event
This event is a 4 session workshop for seniors to learn about knowledge and skills that are centered on improving self-care and physical wellbeing through activities such as identification of acupoints, traditional Chinese stretching exercises etc.
The knowledge and skills are highly applicable and easy to administer in the Senior's daily lives. Seniors can use the knowledge and skills to elevate simple ailments and strengthening of the body at home without the need of supervision and with the knowledge acquired hence empowering them to feel more confident and less anxious if emergency situations happen.
Learning Objectives
- Apply knowledge and skills to improve general physical and mental wellbeing
- Able to perform exercises at home to elevate basic ailments and daily living
- Able to apply knowledge during emergency situations
Workshop Schedule
Monday, 8 April – 9.30 am to 11.30am
Monday,15 April – 9.30 am to 11.30am
Monday, 22 April – 9.30 am to 11.30am
Monday, 29 April – 9.30 am to 11.30am
Each sign-up for the workshop will receive the following start-up items:
- 800ml BPA Free Water bottle
- Resistance Band
- Personal Towel
*Minimum 8 students required to start the class
To Note:
- All payments for courses are non-refundable.
- No make-up lessons will be provided.
- BCS may replace a trainer in the event the trainer is unable to conduct the class due to unforeseen circumstances.
