Save the date for “THE TASTE” 2024 IT’S A SLAM DUNK!
For the first time in its 25+ year history, the Taste of the South Shore will be held at the South Shore YMCA in Quincy! On Wednesday, May 8, the South Shore YMCA will transform its Hale Family Y field house in Quincy into a “Field of Dreams” for the Taste of the South Shore, the area’s premier tasting and social event.
The Taste is the signature fundraising event for the South Shore YMCA, and it delivers an evening of fun, food and friends with gourmet food and beverage tastings served by over 25 of the area’s top restaurant chefs, caterers, bakeries, wineries, breweries, and distilleries.
It’s all to raise funds to support “Y kids” and families in need throughout the South Shore, to ensure that every child has access to healthy food, exercise, arts, water safety, and sports at the Y.
This year’s Taste of the South Shore will include a beer & beverage garden, sports-themed games, reserved “box seating” opportunities, and local sports legends. PLUS, enjoy live music from local favorite, The Smoking Jackets.
Bring your friends and colleagues for an evening of fun and help keep Y kids safe, learning, growing, and thriving at the Y.
