About this Event
The Diddley Idols are Queens Native Dave Barckow (Eileen Ivers Band) and Dubliner Louise Barry (The Celtic Angels): The New York based duo with the full band sound. After a chance encounter in 2012, Dave and Louise’s undeniable chemistry made them inseparable and together they formed The Diddley Idols” in 2013. As two lead vocalists, they added Dave’s foot operated drum kit and guitar and mandolin and Louise’s ukulele and percussion to finish out their sound.
Their high octane mix of pop and Irish traditional tunes and all the party rock you can handle will having you singing and dancing all night long. Dave’s energy and ability to chat to anyone make him a crowd favorite while you can often find professional dancer Louise doing a step anywhere there's space. A live “tour de force” and “proof that great things really do come in small packages!”
