About this Event
After a year's long hiatus, Pittsburgh's Tamburitzans return to Allentown with another fantastic collection of folk dance and song. This year's production, entitled "Legacy", takes our audiences on a journey across many countries. Starting in the fields of Croatia, you'll be transported across international lines through the beauty of a melody or the rhytmic stamping of a mens' dance. Let us take you across the world - and return you back to your seat in just two lively hours of entertainment.
This year's production will feature Slavic culture - Croatia and Serbia, as well as Bulgarian, Polish, Armenian, and Romani song and dance - with a short stop in Spain as well. 25 performers grace the stage, showcasing everything from flute to flamenco. Our production truly has something for everyone!

Each ticket you purchase not only helps build bridges between countries and culture, but furthers education and understanding. One of the most fascinating parts of the Tamburitzan Ensemble is that every performer is a full time college student. Studying everything from Ph*rm*cy, nursing, education and entrepreneurialism, these entertainers provide excellence on stage then only a few hours later, head off to excel in academics.
Our ensemble brings together artists of all different backgrounds and disciplines who, through their years performing, become a family. Our students head out into the world with the knowledge that through performance and art, we can share in the joy of our differences.
