Craig Gwladus is such a place.
Join storyteller Owen Staton for a new series of storytelling and writing workshops, exploring the memories, mysteries, and half-heard tales woven into the landscape of the wonderful Craig Gwladus Country Park.
Do you carry a story of the park — a moment remembered, a path that stayed with you, a feeling that never quite faded?
Is there a myth, a whisper, or an unanswered question you have always wanted to explore on the page?
Together, we will look at what makes a good story — how atmosphere is built, how memory becomes narrative, and how place itself can speak through words. And, if you wish, you may even find yourself stepping forward to tell your tale at a forthcoming open mic night on Friday 13th February, where stories old and new will be shared aloud.
Come walk the paths again — this time with words.
As part of our upcoming week-long exhibition, we're inviting you to share your stories and memories of Craig Gwladus Country Park in a series of storytelling workshops. There will be an opportunity to share your final draft at our upcoming exhibition, but this is entirely optional.

Gyda'n gilydd, byddwn yn edrych ar beth sydd yn gwneud stori dda — sut mae awyrgylch yn cael ei adeiladu, sut mae atgof yn troi'n naratif, a sut y gall y lle ei hun siarad trwy eiriau. Ac, os dymunwch, efallai y byddwch hyd yn oed yn canfod eich hun yn camu ymlaen i adrodd eich stori mewn noson meicroffon agored ar ddydd Gwener 13 Chwefror, lle rhoddir straeon hen a newydd yn wyneb y cyhoedd.

Fel rhan o'n harddangosfa wythnos o'n blaen, rydym yn eich gwahodd i rannu eich straeon a'ch atgofion o Barc Gwladus Craig mewn cyfres o weithdai naratif. Bydd cyfle i rannu'ch drafft terfynol yn ein harddangosfa sydd ar ddod, ond mae hyn yn gwbl ddewisol.
